Biography

Overview

Cassandra Calderon is an Antitrust/Competition associate in the New York office. Her practice focuses on advising clients on global antitrust merger clearance, government merger investigations, antitrust compliance best practices, antitrust dispute and liability exposure, and competition-related counseling. Cassandra regularly helps clients navigate U.S. antitrust laws and comply with the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, including filing HSR forms, responding to Second Requests and civil investigative demands issued by antitrust enforcers, and other antitrust regulatory review matters.

In addition, Cassandra maintains a robust pro bono practice, with a particular focus on matters involving prisoner’s rights, criminal appeals, and asylum proceedings and co-leads the Alianza Network book club.

Before joining the Firm, Cassandra interned at the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division in the New York field office. Cassandra graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2020, where she was a Submissions Editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Cassandra has studied and lived in Mexico, France, Russia, and Chile.
